How to Download and Install FileZilla FTP Client on Windows

FileZilla is a free FTP program for uploading and downloading your website files.

Steps

1. Go to https://filezilla-project.org and click Download FileZilla Client.
2. Choose the free standard edition for Windows and run the downloaded installer.
3. Accept the licence, choose whether to install for all users, and keep the default components.
4. If the installer offers extra software, decline it.
5. Finish the installation and open FileZilla.

Note: Download FileZilla only from its official website. Copies from other download sites often bundle unwanted software.
