Red5 Server Hosting for Streaming Where Delay Actually Matters.
Dedicated hardware for interactive and real time streaming deployments, with full root access and unmetered traffic. Tell us where your users are and we will tell you which locations are available.
Which Red5 Edition Are You Deploying.
Worth being precise, because the two are genuinely different products and it changes what your server needs. The open source Red5 media server handles RTMP and related protocols and is free to use.
It does not include WebRTC support or server side transcoding, which means it cannot on its own deliver the sub second latency that interactive applications need. Red5 Pro is the commercial product, and it adds WebRTC along with other protocols, server side transcoding and a clustered architecture designed for scaling across origin and edge servers. If your project depends on genuinely low latency, it is the commercial product you are deploying, and it is licensed by its vendor. Tell us which one you are running and we will size and configure accordingly.
Where Latency Is a Requirement, Not a Preference.
Infrastructure sized specifically for live auctions, real-time sports betting, two-way interactive video, and second-screen audience engagement where sub-second delivery is critical.
Live Auctions and Bidding
A viewer who sees the lot several seconds late is bidding on the past. This is the clearest case where standard delivery simply does not work.
Betting and Live Odds
Any application where the viewer acts on what they are watching, and where the delay between event and view has a direct commercial consequence.
Two Way and Interactive Video
Conversation, remote instruction, telehealth and remote operation, where a delay of several seconds makes the interaction unusable rather than merely awkward.
Interactive Events and Second Screen
Live polling, questions and audience participation timed against what is happening on screen.
Sized by Streams, Viewers and Location.
Sizing here depends on how many simultaneous publishers and subscribers you expect, whether you need server side transcoding, and where your users are.
Real time protocols are more demanding per connection than segmented delivery, so viewer counts do not translate directly from ordinary streaming. Send us your expected concurrent publishers and subscribers and we will specify the hardware rather than point you at a tier.
Location: ask us before you order and we will tell you which data centres can deliver these servers, closest to your viewers. Contact us

WORKS WITH
What Actually Determines Latency.
Latency is not a number a hosting provider can promise, because most of it is determined by things beyond any single server. The protocol sets the floor: standard segmented delivery has an inherent delay of several seconds, while a real time protocol can operate far below that.
After that it is physics and routing. The distance between your server and your users, and the quality of the network path between them, account for most of the remaining delay. That is why the useful questions are where your users are and how good the route to them is, rather than what number a provider is willing to print. Tell us where your users are and we will talk about locations and routing rather than quoting a figure we cannot control.

What We Handle and What Stays Yours.
We deliver the server with the open source Red5 server installed, within 2 to 46 business hours, with full root access and Free Basic Managed Support for quick tasks. Want Red5 Pro instead? We install it, and you buy the licence from Red5. Your streams and application configuration stay with you or your integrator.
If you need help at that layer, or want us to run the server, hire our engineers from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, or by the month.
Discuss Your RequirementsScaling Beyond One Server.
Real time streaming scales differently from ordinary video, because you cannot lean on caching to absorb load. Interactive deployments typically distribute across origin and edge servers, with the origin taking the ingest and edges serving viewers close to where they are.
That is an architecture decision rather than a hosting product, but it has direct hosting consequences: you need several machines, in the right places, with good routing between them. If that is where your project is heading, tell us early. It is much easier to plan for than to retrofit.
Put the Server Where the People Are.
For latency sensitive applications, location is not a preference, it is part of the architecture. Every thousand kilometres between server and user adds measurable delay before anything else happens, and a poor route adds more than distance does.
If your users are concentrated in one region, put the server there. If they are spread across continents, you are looking at multiple servers rather than one well chosen one. Tell us where your users are and we will be straightforward about what is achievable.
Real Time or Not: Pick the Right Platform.
Four ways to stream video with Ucartz, from one channel on a shared server to a full operator platform. Pick by what you actually stream.
Shared video streaming
One channel live from OBS, with recordings, on a shared server. The lowest cost way to start.
VDO Panel dedicated server
Run 24/7 TV channels from a playlist, go live from OBS and restream to YouTube and Facebook at once, with a reseller panel.
Flussonic dedicated server
IPTV and OTT, many channels, transcoding, DVR and CCTV recording, with the Flussonic licence you choose.
Red5 dedicated server
Open source Red5 for RTMP live streams; real-time WebRTC for auctions, classes and two-way video needs a Red5 Pro licence.
Plan bandwidth from your peak viewers: viewers times bitrate, plus about 30 percent headroom. One hour of 720p at 3 Mbps is about 1.35 GB per viewer.
From Specification to Live.
From your requirements to full deployment in three straightforward steps.
1. Tell Us the Requirement
Which Red5 product, expected concurrent publishers and subscribers, transcoding needs and where your users are.
2. We Specify and Build
Pick the plan for your workload. We deliver it with the open source Red5 server installed, or Red5 Pro on your own licence, within 2 to 46 business hours.
3. Deploy Your Application
You install and configure the media server and your application, with root access and our engineers available on the infrastructure layer.
Video streaming under your own brand.
Your viewers see your channel, your player and your name, never ours.
No Ucartz branding
Our name appears nowhere your customers can see: not in the panel, the player or the stream.
White-label hostnames
Your services run on neutral, white-label hostnames, never on a Ucartz domain, so customers only ever see your brand.
Your player, your look
Brand the player and pages you embed on your own site.
Resell it freely
Producing streams for clients? Resell the service under your own name.
Every Ucartz service is 100% white label. Hosting, radio and video streaming run on white-label hostnames, and anything you buy from us, Hire an Expert work included, can be resold or outsourced under your own name.
