WHO IS IT FOR?

Built for Every Broadcaster.

Infrastructure built for live event producers, houses of worship, educators, and commercial channels.

Event and Conference Producers

Live streams with predictable audiences and hard deadlines. You need capacity on the day and you need it to work first time, without a per minute meter running.

Houses of Worship and Community Groups

Regular scheduled services streamed to a known congregation, often with a recording published afterwards. Reliability matters more than features.

Education and Training Providers

Lectures and course material, live and recorded, where the content is the product and it should not sit on a consumer platform surrounded by advertising.

Web TV and Channel Operators

Scheduled channels, on demand libraries and a branded viewing experience. This is where a control panel earns its keep.

CORE FEATURES

Enterprise Streaming Features.

Live and on-demand video, adaptive bitrate playback, a player you can brand and viewer statistics.

ADVANCED FEATURES

The Jargon, Translated.

Streaming has more acronyms than any other kind of hosting, and most of them describe simple ideas.

Ingest and Playback

Ingest is how your video gets to the server, usually over RTMP from your encoder or camera software. Playback is how viewers receive it, usually over HLS, which works in browsers and on phones without a plugin. Most setups use RTMP in and HLS out, and you do not need to think about it beyond that.

Transcoding and Adaptive Bitrate

Transcoding means the server producing several quality versions of your stream so viewers on poor connections get a lower one automatically. It is what stops a stream buffering on a phone. It is also the most processor intensive thing a streaming server does, which is why it is not available on every plan.

Latency

The delay between something happening and a viewer seeing it. Standard delivery has a delay of several seconds, which is fine for a service, a lecture or a concert. If you need genuine interaction, such as a live auction or two way conversation, that needs a different technology and a different kind of server.

How Much Bandwidth Video Actually Needs.

Worth doing this arithmetic before you buy, because video consumes far more than people expect. A single viewer watching a standard definition stream uses roughly one to two megabits per second. High definition is typically three to six.

So a hundred concurrent viewers at high definition can require several hundred megabits per second of sustained outbound capacity, and a thousand viewers is a different class of infrastructure entirely. This is why streaming plans are sized by bandwidth rather than by storage. Tell us your expected concurrent viewers and the quality you want to deliver and we will tell you honestly what that needs.

600GB Plan Capacity

Delivers ~900 hours of SD streaming (or ~300 HD hours) per month, ideal for regular scheduled broadcasts.

2.5TB Plan Capacity

Sustains ~1,600 hours of 1080p HD streaming per month for active web channels and daily events.

4TB Plan Capacity

Provides ~2,200+ hours of full HD video delivery per month for large concurrent audiences and 24/7 web TV.

Pick the right fit

Pick the Video Platform That Fits.

Four ways to stream video with Ucartz, from one channel on a shared server to a full operator platform. Pick by what you actually stream.

Shared video streaming

One channel live from OBS, with recordings, on a shared server. The lowest cost way to start.

Churches, schools, small web TV
From $10/mo

VDO Panel dedicated server

Run 24/7 TV channels from a playlist, go live from OBS and restream to YouTube and Facebook at once, with a reseller panel.

Web TV stations, resellers
From $105/mo

Flussonic dedicated server

IPTV and OTT, many channels, transcoding, DVR and CCTV recording, with the Flussonic licence you choose.

Operators, ISPs, broadcasters
From $189/mo

Red5 dedicated server

Open source Red5 for RTMP live streams; real-time WebRTC for auctions, classes and two-way video needs a Red5 Pro licence.

Real-time apps
From $114/mo

Plan bandwidth from your peak viewers: viewers times bitrate, plus about 30 percent headroom. One hour of 720p at 3 Mbps is about 1.35 GB per viewer.

DEPLOYMENT PROCESS

Go Live in Days, Not Weeks.

Follow our simple onboarding process to size your infrastructure, configure your panel, and launch your stream.

Step 01

Tell Us the Numbers

Expected concurrent viewers, the quality you want to deliver, and whether it is live, on demand or both.

Step 02

We Configure It

Shared accounts are set up on our servers; dedicated servers are delivered within 2 to 46 business hours with the panel installed.

Step 03

Point Your Encoder

Your encoder connects to the ingest address and you are live. Embed the player and share the link.

100% white label

Video streaming under your own brand.

Your viewers see your channel, your player and your name, never ours.

No Ucartz branding

Our name appears nowhere your customers can see: not in the panel, the player or the stream.

White-label hostnames

Your services run on neutral, white-label hostnames, never on a Ucartz domain, so customers only ever see your brand.

Your player, your look

Brand the player and pages you embed on your own site.

Resell it freely

Producing streams for clients? Resell the service under your own name.

Every Ucartz service is 100% white label. Hosting, radio and video streaming run on white-label hostnames, and anything you buy from us, Hire an Expert work included, can be resold or outsourced under your own name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the plans, support and billing.

Shared plans start at $10 a month. Dedicated servers start at $105 with VDO Panel, $114 for Red5 and $189 for Flussonic.

It is a machine that receives your video and delivers it to everyone watching. Your encoder sends one stream to the server, the server sends a copy to each viewer. That is why you do not need a fast connection at your end, and why the server's outbound bandwidth is what determines how many people can watch.

It depends on bandwidth and quality. A high definition viewer uses roughly three to six megabits per second, so a hundred concurrent viewers can need several hundred megabits per second of sustained outbound capacity. Tell us your expected concurrent viewers and target quality and we will tell you what it requires rather than quoting a headline figure.

RTMP is how your video usually gets to the server from your encoder. HLS is how it generally reaches viewers, because it plays in browsers and on phones without a plugin. Most setups use RTMP in and HLS out, and you generally do not have to think about it beyond configuring your encoder once.

Transcoding is the server making several quality versions of your stream so viewers on slower connections automatically get a lower one instead of buffering. If your audience is all on good connections it matters less. If they are on mobile networks it matters a great deal. It is processor intensive, so confirm whether it is available on the plan you are considering.

Yes. An embeddable player is provided and can be styled for your site, and you can use your own player against the stream if you prefer. Your viewers stay on your site rather than on somebody else's platform.

For a broadcaster with a regular audience, usually yes, because you pay for capacity rather than per viewer minute. For someone who streams rarely and unpredictably, a platform's consumption pricing may genuinely work out cheaper. We would rather you did that arithmetic before buying than after.

Not to start. Shared streaming plans suit a regular audience of modest size. You need a dedicated machine when concurrent viewers grow substantially, when you are running several channels, or when you need transcoding, which is heavy enough that it usually calls for a machine of your own.

Yes. On demand libraries and live channels are both supported. The difference is that on demand needs storage for the library as well as bandwidth for delivery, so tell us how large the library is.

Standard delivery has a delay of several seconds, which is fine for services, lectures and concerts. Genuine two way interaction needs different technology, and the Red5 servers are the option built for that. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will point you at the right one.

No CDN is included; each plan delivers from our servers. A single server has a finite outbound capacity, so if your audience is spread across continents, ask us about your options before you order.

Yes. Free Basic Managed Support includes encoder connection help, which is where most first streams go wrong, usually over bitrate settings or key frame intervals.

Our service level agreement commits to 99.9 percent uptime each month, with credits if we miss it.

Yes. Free Basic Managed Support gives you complimentary, best-effort help with quick tasks of about 5 minutes, such as panel access, stream and port checks, encoder connection help and DNS pointing.

Yes. Book help for AutoDJ setup, migrations, relays or emergency recovery from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, with no monthly commitment.

Yes. We build scheduling, reporting and social-posting automations with n8n and AI tools, connected to your streaming panel.
