Our History
Ucartz started as a one-person hosting business in Kerala and has grown, without outside investment, into a company serving clients around the world.
Started From Home, Solo
Ebin V Thomas began Ucartz as a one-person hosting business from a home office in Punalur, Kerala, to help small businesses get a reliable, affordable website online.
A Remote Team
As customers grew, the first team member joined, working remotely, and by 2015 the team was four people handling support and server management.
Incorporated, First Office
Ucartz became Ucartz Online Private Limited, rented its first office in Punalur and hired local, in-house staff. The team also attended Cloud Bazaar in Mumbai.
Hosting, VPS and Dedicated Servers
Structured shared hosting plans in 2018, KVM VPS with full root access in 2019, and bare metal dedicated servers for heavy workloads in 2021.
Office in the UAE
Ucartz opened an international office in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, covered by Khaleej Times.
Managed Services and Community
Managed cloud and server management services launched. Ebin V Thomas spoke in Cambridge during London Tech Week 2023 and attended GITEX Global 2024, and Ucartz sponsored WordCamp Kerala 2023, WordCamp Bhopal 2023 and WordCamp Kerala 2024.
