WHO IS IT FOR?

Built for Operators.

Infrastructure sized specifically for IPTV providers, OTT platform operators, systems integrators, and media server migrations.

IPTV Service Providers

Delivering television channels to subscribers, often with catch up and recording. Channel count and transcoding load determine the hardware more than anything else.

Over the Top Platform Operators

Streaming direct to viewers across devices and networks, where adaptive bitrate delivery is essential rather than optional.

Systems Integrators

Building and running services for broadcast clients, where hardware needs to be right the first time and the timeline is not yours.

Operators Migrating Media Servers

Moving from another media server and needing infrastructure sized correctly for the new one rather than inherited from the old.

STREAMING SOLUTIONS

Where the Server Sits Matters.

For television delivery, the distance between the server and the audience shows up directly as start time and rebuffering, particularly on mobile networks. If your subscribers are concentrated in one region, the server should be near them.

If they are spread across several, that is a distribution conversation rather than a single server conversation. Tell us where your audience is before choosing a location, because it is much harder to change afterwards.

Server Location & Audience Latency Diagram
FLEXIBLE PLANS

Sized by Channels, Transcoding and Viewers.

Four numbers determine the machine: how many channels you ingest, how many of those need transcoding and into how many profiles, your peak concurrent viewers, and how many hours of recording you need to retain.

The first two set the processor requirement, the third sets the uplink, and the fourth sets the storage. Send us those numbers and we will specify it rather than guess.

Why Sizing Matters More Here Than Anywhere Else.

Most hosting workloads are forgiving. A media server doing live transcoding is not. Transcoding is genuinely processor intensive, and the number of channels a machine can transcode simultaneously depends on the processor, the codecs and the output profiles rather than on any tier name.

Meanwhile the delivery side is bandwidth bound: every concurrent viewer consumes their profile's bitrate for as long as they watch. Those two demands pull in different directions, which is why a server chosen only for bandwidth will disappoint on transcoding and a server chosen only for processing will run out of uplink. Tell us your channel count, your transcoding profiles and your expected concurrent viewers, and we will size for both.

What We Handle and What Stays Yours.

We deliver the server with Flussonic Media Server installed on a 10-day trial licence, within 2 to 46 business hours, with full root access and Free Basic Managed Support for quick tasks. Your channels and transcoding stay with you or your integrator; Catena or Watcher on request.

If you need help at that layer, or want us to run the server, hire our engineers from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, or by the month.

ADVANCED FEATURES

What Operators Use It For.

Key streaming capabilities Flussonic Media Server provides for television and IPTV operations.

Live Channels With Adaptive Delivery

Multiple quality profiles generated from a single source so viewers on any connection get a watchable stream. This is where transcoding load comes from and it is what the hardware must be sized around.

Recording and Catch Up

Continuous recording so viewers can pause, rewind or watch a programme after it aired. This consumes storage steadily and predictably, and it is the requirement most often underestimated at the sizing stage.

Multiple Delivery Protocols

Delivery to browsers, mobile applications and set top boxes across the protocols each requires, from a single ingest. The practical benefit is not needing separate infrastructure per device type.

PLATFORM CAPABILITIES

About the Software Licence.

Worth settling before anything else, because it is the largest variable in your monthly cost. Flussonic Media Server is commercially licensed by its vendor and the licence is a significant cost in its own right, independent of the hardware it runs on.

Every server comes with a 10-day Flussonic trial licence so you can test it. After that you buy your Flussonic licence from the vendor, or bring one you already have; it is not part of the server price.

What changed

Flussonic in 2026, in Plain Words.

Flussonic, the company formerly known as Erlyvideo, has moved its product line on. Here is what that means for a server you buy today.

Media Server: still supported

Flussonic Media Server is what we install by default. Flussonic still ships fixes for it (version 26.10, October 2026) and says it stays supported, so it is a safe choice today.

Catena for IPTV and OTT

New TV and OTT services are pointed to Flussonic Catena: streaming, middleware, apps, DRM and timeshift in one product.

Watcher for cameras

Video surveillance, recording and IP cameras are handled by Flussonic Watcher.

A new streaming core

Catena and Watcher run on Sapsan, Flussonic's new streaming core written in Rust. Existing licences can be converted, on terms Flussonic sets per installation.

Our servers run all of them

The same dedicated servers run Flussonic Media Server today and Catena or Watcher when you move. The hardware does not change; the licence does, and Flussonic offers to convert Media Server licences to Catena.

Licence from Flussonic

Flussonic sells monthly subscriptions and one-off perpetual licences, and gives out trial keys for testing. Check the current price with Flussonic: it is separate from the server.

Pick the right fit

You May Not Need Flussonic at All.

Four ways to stream video with Ucartz, from one channel on a shared server to a full operator platform. Pick by what you actually stream.

Shared video streaming

One channel live from OBS, with recordings, on a shared server. The lowest cost way to start.

VDO Panel dedicated server

Run 24/7 TV channels from a playlist, go live from OBS and restream to YouTube and Facebook at once, with a reseller panel.

Flussonic dedicated server

IPTV and OTT, many channels, transcoding, DVR and CCTV recording, with the Flussonic licence you choose.

Operators, ISPs, broadcasters

Red5 dedicated server

Open source Red5 for RTMP live streams; real-time WebRTC for auctions, classes and two-way video needs a Red5 Pro licence.

Real-time apps
From $114/mo

Plan bandwidth from your peak viewers: viewers times bitrate, plus about 30 percent headroom. One hour of 720p at 3 Mbps is about 1.35 GB per viewer.

100% white label

Video streaming under your own brand.

Your viewers see your channel, your player and your name, never ours.

No Ucartz branding

Our name appears nowhere your customers can see: not in the panel, the player or the stream.

White-label hostnames

Your services run on neutral, white-label hostnames, never on a Ucartz domain, so customers only ever see your brand.

Your player, your look

Brand the player and pages you embed on your own site.

Resell it freely

Producing streams for clients? Resell the service under your own name.

Every Ucartz service is 100% white label. Hosting, radio and video streaming run on white-label hostnames, and anything you buy from us, Hire an Expert work included, can be resold or outsourced under your own name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the plans, support and billing.

Plans run from $189 to $397 a month across 5 configurations, billed monthly with no setup fee. Each plan in the table above lists its CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, IPs and locations.

No. Each server comes with a 10-day Flussonic trial licence. After the trial you buy your Flussonic licence from the vendor, or bring one you already have. The licence is not part of the server price.

It depends mostly on transcoding. Passing a channel through without re-encoding is light; transcoding one source into several quality profiles is demanding. Tell us your channel count and profiles and we will help you pick a plan.

That is a bandwidth question. A viewer at 4 Mbps uses 4 Mbps for as long as they watch, so 100 viewers need about 400 Mbps, plus about 30 percent headroom. Ports here are 250 or 500 Mbps with unmetered traffic.

The store has no location choice for these servers, so ask us before you order and we will tell you which locations are available near your audience.

We install Flussonic Media Server with a 10-day trial licence before delivery, and Free Basic Managed Support covers quick tasks. Setting up your channels, transcoding and recording is on-demand work, from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour.

Flussonic's own rule: take each channel's incoming bitrate, add 30 percent, multiply by the time you keep recordings and divide by 0.9. A 4 Mbps channel kept for 7 days needs about 440 GB. Every plan has 2 x 2 TB in software RAID; tell us your channels and retention days and we will check it fits.

Yes. Flussonic still releases Media Server fixes (version 26.10, October 2026) and says it stays supported. For new multi-server TV services Flussonic points to Catena, and for cameras to Watcher; we install Media Server by default and Catena or Watcher on request.

Yes. Send from OBS over RTMP or SRT, and viewers watch over HLS in any browser or app. Flussonic also supports WebRTC for lower delay.

Only for heavy transcoding. Passing channels through needs little processing; making several quality versions of many channels at once is far easier with an NVIDIA or Intel hardware encoder. For that, ask about our GPU dedicated servers.

Dedicated servers are delivered within 2 to 46 business hours of payment, depending on the location and server type. Business hours are our billing office's working hours in India (IST), excluding public holidays.

No. Dedicated servers are not covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee, because the hardware is set up for you. The conditions are in section 8 of our Terms and Conditions, so ask us before you order if you are unsure which plan fits.

No. The location is fixed when you order. To use another location, order a new server there, move your data and cancel the old one (Appendix B.8 of our terms).

Each plan in the table lists its usable IPv4 addresses. IPs are final once the server is delivered (Appendix B.7 of our terms). Extra subnets from /29 to /24 can be ordered separately, each with its own gateway.

On selected servers only, mainly in our UK and European locations. It isn't included on every plan in this range, so ask us to confirm for a specific plan before you order.

Yes. Port 25 is open and dedicated servers have no fixed sending limit. Spam, unsolicited mail and other mail abuse are prohibited under sections 3 and 7 of our Acceptable Use Policy.

Where the data centre offers it, IPMI or KVM console access is usually available free on request. On Supermicro servers the BMC licence for HTML5 virtual media is activated, so you can mount an ISO from your browser.

No. You are responsible for backups on a dedicated server (section 5 of our terms). Our engineers can set up a backup routine for you as on-demand work.

Yes. Free Basic Managed Support gives you complimentary, best-effort help with quick tasks of about 5 minutes, such as panel access, stream and port checks, encoder connection help and DNS pointing.

Yes. Book help for AutoDJ setup, migrations, relays or emergency recovery from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, with no monthly commitment.

Yes. We build scheduling, reporting and social-posting automations with n8n and AI tools, connected to your streaming panel.
