How it works
From order to a working WordPress site on your own server.
- 1
Choose a plan
Order the KVM VPS package that fits your site and pay at checkout.
- 2
Automatic deployment
Our control panel creates the VPS in about a minute once the order is approved. Your login details arrive by email.
- 3
Ask for your free setup
Open a Technical Support ticket from the client area with your domain name. Our engineers install WordPress with standard settings.
- 4
Go live
We send you the WordPress admin link. You keep full root access, and Free Basic Managed Support covers quick tasks after that.
What the free WordPress setup covers
A clean starting point that follows the server recommendations WordPress publishes. Anything beyond it is optional and billed only for the time used.
Included free
- A web server (Apache or Nginx) with PHP 8.3 or newer and MariaDB
- The latest WordPress release, with an admin account for you
- Your domain pointed to the VPS, with a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate
- Your WordPress and database logins, sent through the ticket
Custom work, billed by time
From $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, only for the time used. No contract.
- Moving an existing WordPress site to the VPS
- Themes, plugins, page builders and WooCommerce settings
- Caching, performance tuning and off-server backups
- A control panel (choose Managed cPanel VPS if you want cPanel)
WordPress on a VPS instead of shared hosting
On shared hosting your site competes with other accounts for CPU, memory and PHP limits. On a KVM VPS the CPU cores, memory and NVMe storage in your plan belong to your virtual server, and you choose the PHP version, caching and security rules yourself.
You can run one busy site or several smaller ones on the same VPS, each with its own database. With root access you can also add the tools WordPress sites often need, such as WP-CLI or Redis object caching.
Our free setup follows the requirements WordPress publishes today:
| Current WordPress release | 7.1.2 |
|---|---|
| PHP | 8.3 or newer (recommended by WordPress) |
| Database | MariaDB 10.11 or newer, or MySQL 8.0 or newer |
| Web server | Apache or Nginx |
| HTTPS | Free Let’s Encrypt certificate |

What people run on a WordPress VPS
Business websites
Company sites that need steady speed and their own server instead of a shared account.
WooCommerce stores
Online shops with checkout, stock and customer accounts, where database speed matters.
Agency client sites
Several client sites on one VPS, each with its own database and SSL certificate.
Membership and course sites
Logged-in visitors usually bypass page caching, so these sites need more CPU and memory than a brochure site.
Staging copies
A private copy of your live site for testing updates and plugins before they go live.
Headless WordPress
WordPress as a content API for a separate front end built with React, Next.js or similar.
