THE CLEAR CHOICE

When It Is Time to Move Up From Shared.

Shared streaming hosting gives you one station, with a listener limit and a fixed bitrate. Your own server runs many stations at any bitrate, carries as many listeners as its port allows, and lets you host stations for other people.

PREMIUM FEATURES

What Changes at the Dedicated Tier.

The difference is not that streaming gets better. It is that the constraints disappear.

The Whole Machine Is Yours

No other customer shares the processor, the memory or the network card. Peak hours behave the same as quiet ones because nothing else on the machine is competing with your stream.

As Many Stations as It Carries

Shared plans sell you one station. A dedicated machine runs as many as the hardware and bandwidth support, at whatever bitrates you choose, with no per station fee.

Root Access and Full Control

Install the panel you want, change the streaming configuration, add mount points, open ports, run supporting services alongside the stream. Nothing needs a support ticket.

Host Other People's Stations

With your own machine you can sell hosting to other broadcasters. Many stations fund their own infrastructure this way and end up running it at a profit.

CHOOSE YOUR ENGINE

Pick the Panel That Fits How You Work.

The server is the same underneath. What differs is the control panel installed on top, and that choice is worth making deliberately. CentovaCast is the long established standard with the deepest listener reporting.

SonicPanel adds live jingles and voice inserts, for stations that go live often. AzuraCast is free and open source, which removes panel licensing from your monthly cost entirely. All three run SHOUTcast and Icecast underneath, so your existing broadcast software works with any of them. EverestCast servers are also available.

Listener capacity planning
COMPLETE CONTROL

How Many Listeners Will It
Actually Carry.

This is simpler arithmetic than the market pretends and worth doing before you buy. Each listener consumes your broadcast bitrate continuously while connected.

A station broadcasting at 128 kilobits per second uses roughly that much per listener, so a thousand simultaneous listeners needs somewhere in the region of 128 megabits per second of sustained outbound capacity. That is why the uplink speed on the server matters far more than any monthly data allowance. Tell us your bitrate and the peak concurrent listeners you expect and we will tell you what uplink that needs, rather than selling you a number and hoping.

USE CASES

Built for Professional Broadcasting.

Radio dedicated servers suit a diverse range of audio streaming networks.

Large Single Stations

A high concurrent listener count where peak hours are the whole business. Dedicated capacity removes the variability.

Station Networks

Several stations under one brand, each with its own stream, statistics and presenters, all on one machine and one invoice.

Radio Hosting Businesses

You have outgrown a reseller block and want your own infrastructure, better margins and complete control over what you offer.

Broadcasters With Specific Requirements

Custom mount point configurations, unusual bitrates, supporting services alongside the stream, or software the shared platform does not run.

ENTERPRISE HARDWARE

Powerful Infrastructure
That Matters.

Audio streaming is not a demanding workload for a processor. It is a demanding one for the network. A radio server spends its life sending many simultaneous outbound connections, so network capacity, uplink speed and routing quality determine how the station performs far more than the processor specification does.

FUTURE PROOF

Add Stations as You Grow.

Growth in radio is rarely smooth. A station gets a mention, a network adds two more stations, or a reseller signs a large customer. Because the machine is yours, adding stations costs nothing beyond the capacity they consume.

When the hardware itself becomes the limit, moving to a larger machine is a planned move that our engineers can do for you as on-demand work.

What Every Station Asks First.

The questions broadcasters ask most, answered plainly before you pick a plan.

How much bandwidth do I need?

Bitrate times listeners. 100 listeners at 128 kbps need 12.8 Mbps, and each listener uses about 57.6 MB an hour. At 128 kbps, 1 GB of AutoDJ space holds about 260 four-minute songs.

Work it out for your station

Does my stream need HTTPS?

Yes, if your website uses HTTPS. Browsers block a plain http stream on a secure page, so the player stays silent. Our radio panels serve streams over HTTPS.

How do I go live?

Connect free tools such as BUTT or Mixxx with the details in your panel. AutoDJ steps aside while you are live and takes over again when you leave.

Do I need a music licence?

Hosting gives you the server; music licences are the broadcaster's responsibility, for example PPL and PRS in the UK, SoundExchange in the US, or PPL India and IPRS in India. This is general information, not legal advice.

Is the panel kept up to date?

Yes. Our panels run their latest releases: every server is checked for updates daily and audited monthly, and Icecast and the other streaming parts update with the panel.

Can you move my station from another panel?

Yes, as paid Hire an Expert work, for example from Centova Cast to AzuraCast with your music, playlists and settings. It is not part of free managed support, so ask us for a quote first.

100% white label

Run your own radio hosting company.

On your own server you decide everything: the brand, the packages and the prices. Ucartz stays invisible.

No Ucartz branding

Our name appears nowhere your customers can see: not in the panel, the player or the stream.

Unlimited reseller accounts

Create as many reseller and client accounts as your server can carry, and sell them under your own brand.

Your own hostname

Panel and streams run on your hostname, so clients only ever see your company.

Automated selling

Connect a billing system such as WHMCS, so accounts are created, suspended and removed automatically when your clients order, renew or cancel.

Every Ucartz service is 100% white label. Hosting, radio and video streaming run on white-label hostnames, and anything you buy from us, Hire an Expert work included, can be resold or outsourced under your own name.

GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about the plans, support and billing.

Yes. The SHOUTcast server, now called Shoutcast Basic, is free to run on your own server, and the listener limit is a setting you choose rather than a licence cap. What you pay for here is the dedicated server and its bandwidth.

CentovaCast servers start at $45, AzuraCast at $48 and SonicPanel at $56 a month, billed monthly with no setup fee. Each panel page lists every plan.

Probably not yet, unless one of four things is true. Your peak concurrent listener count is straining a shared plan. You are running several stations and paying for several plans. You need more bandwidth than shared hosting allocates. Or you want to host other people's stations, which shared hosting does not permit. If none of those apply, stay on shared hosting and spend the difference on your station.

It comes down to bitrate and uplink. Each listener consumes your broadcast bitrate continuously, so a station at 128 kilobits per second needs roughly 128 megabits per second of sustained outbound capacity for a thousand simultaneous listeners. Tell us your bitrate and expected peak and we will tell you the uplink you need.

It means there is no monthly data cap, but the uplink speed is still a real limit and it is the one that matters. A server with a limited uplink will reach its ceiling in concurrent listeners regardless of how much total data it is permitted to send. Always ask about the uplink speed rather than the monthly allowance.

CentovaCast for the established standard with deep listener reporting. SonicPanel if your presenters go live often and want live jingles and voice inserts. AzuraCast if you want no panel licence at all. EverestCast for unlimited stations with reseller and branding options. CentovaCast and SonicPanel licences are included in their plans.

Standard support is included: the panel is installed and Free Basic Managed Support covers quick tasks. At checkout you can add 24x7 server management for $35 a month, or proactive 24x7 server management for $65 a month.

Yes, and many customers do. It is a common way to fund the upgrade, and some end up running the server at a profit. If reselling is the main plan rather than a side benefit, look at the reseller options too, since they need less capital up front.

As many as the hardware and bandwidth carry. There is no per station licence fee on a dedicated machine. The practical limit is the total bandwidth all those stations consume at their combined bitrates and listener counts.

Yes, as on-demand work, from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour. We agree the scope and the switchover time with you before we start.

Yes. Install what you like, change the streaming configuration, add mount points, run supporting services.

You move to a larger server. Our engineers can do the move as on-demand work, from $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour.

Dedicated servers are delivered within 2 to 46 business hours of payment, depending on the location and server type. Business hours are our billing office's working hours in India (IST), excluding public holidays.

No. The location is fixed when you order. To use another location, order a new server there, move your data and cancel the old one (Appendix B.8 of our terms).

Each plan in the table lists its usable IPv4 addresses. IPs are final once the server is delivered (Appendix B.7 of our terms). Extra subnets from /29 to /24 can be ordered separately, each with its own gateway.

On selected servers only, mainly in our UK and European locations. It isn't included on every plan in this range, so ask us to confirm for a specific plan before you order.

Yes. Port 25 is open and dedicated servers have no fixed sending limit. Spam, unsolicited mail and other mail abuse are prohibited under sections 3 and 7 of our Acceptable Use Policy.

Where the data centre offers it, IPMI or KVM console access is usually available free on request. On Supermicro servers the BMC licence for HTML5 virtual media is activated, so you can mount an ISO from your browser.

No. You are responsible for backups on a dedicated server (section 5 of our terms). Our engineers can set up a backup routine for you as on-demand work.
