Dedicated Servers
Hosted in St Petersburg.
Ucartz offers whole physical dedicated servers located in St Petersburg, Russia, rented month to month. Plans start at $118 a month for an Intel Celeron J1900 with 8 GB of DDR3 memory, a 1 TB drive, unmetered traffic and 5 usable IPv4 addresses. Every plan includes full root access and our 99.9% uptime SLA, with no setup fee. Pick a plan below or ask an engineer which build suits your project.
Your Server in Russia, Engineers When You Want Them.
If you are putting a database of Russian users in the country, or running a relay or a small site there, you probably want to control the box yourself. You do, at the self-managed price, and our engineers are there for the moments you want another pair of hands.
Self-managed, and priced that way
Root access and your own setup, without paying for a management contract.
Small questions, answered
An SSH key that stopped working or a proxy config that won't load: short fixes like these are, in most cases, at no extra charge.
Experts for a localisation project
Moving a CRM database into Russia and locking it down is bigger work. Book an engineer as an add-on, one time, hourly or monthly, then close it and run the server yourself again. No lock-in.
One account beyond Russia
The same Ucartz account and bill can hold servers in our other countries too, with no separate contract for each. Our other countries.
Hosted in St Petersburg, Russia.
Every plan on this page runs on hardware in a data centre in St Petersburg, Russia. If your users, customers or data are in Russia, a server in the country keeps traffic and storage inside Russia instead of routing it abroad.
-
In Russia, stated plainly
Your server is physically in St Petersburg, Russia. Not a machine in another country with a Russian IP address.
-
Russia's largest internet exchange
Russian networks exchange traffic locally at MSK-IX, which describes itself as Russia's biggest Internet Exchange, used by over 800 companies and present in 10 cities. Serving Russian users from inside the country keeps their traffic on Russian networks.
-
Personal data kept in Russia
Russian law requires Russian citizens' personal data to be stored and processed in databases located in Russia. A server here can be part of how you meet that rule. See the next section for what the law says and what a server does and does not cover.
-
Honest hardware, flat price
Proven Intel servers from 2013 to 2015 on one flat monthly price, with no setup fee and several IPv4 addresses included.
Core DC
What Russian Data Law Expects From You.
Russia's main personal data law is Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" of 27 July 2006. Federal Law No. 242-FZ added a data localisation rule to it, in Article 18(5), which has applied since 1 September 2015.
It requires operators that collect personal data of Russian citizens to record, systematise, accumulate, store, update and extract that data using databases located in Russia.
Federal Law No. 23-FZ of 28 February 2025 rewrote Article 18(5), with effect from 1 July 2025. The rule is now written as a prohibition: processing Russian citizens' personal data in databases located outside Russia is not permitted, apart from narrow exceptions set out in the law. If you hold that data, a copy kept only abroad is no longer an option.
A server in Russia gives you a database location inside the country. It does not by itself make your organisation compliant: compliance is the data operator's responsibility, not the host's. Your processes, access controls, contracts and records still matter. We don't claim otherwise.
Read this section as general information only. It is not legal advice, and decisions about your obligations belong with a qualified lawyer in Russia. After that, our engineers can help configure your server covering disk layout, firewall rules, backup location and log retention.
152-FZ & 23-FZ Server Checklist
- Put the main database on the Russia machine
- Settle whether backups live in Russia or elsewhere
- List every tool that sends personal data outside Russia
- Ensure compliance with 23-FZ prohibitions effective July 2025
- Lock admin access down with firewall and SSH keys
- Ask a qualified adviser in Russia what applies to your service

Six builds, every one hosted in Russia and billed at a flat monthly price with no setup fee. You pay the same amount each month that the card shows.
Most plans have no transfer quota at all; the port is the only limit, and a 100 Mbps port at full speed for a month moves about 32 TB.
Two plans have a monthly transfer allowance instead.

What People Run on a Server in Russia.
This range is priced for steady, lighter work rather than heavy compute. Here is where it earns its place.
Websites for Russian users
Business sites, WordPress and small stores for customers in Russia, on a machine you don't share, with unmetered traffic on most plans so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
Apps that hold Russian personal data
CRMs, booking systems, sign up forms and internal tools whose database has to sit in Russia. The data localisation section explains the limits of that.
Proxies, relays and endpoints
A low power box with several IPv4 addresses is a practical home for a reverse proxy, mail relay, VPN endpoint or monitoring node inside Russia.
Development, staging & small game servers
Root access and one flat monthly price make it an inexpensive base for build runners, staging copies, test environments and small game communities.
Included With Every Russia Plan.
Nothing to add at checkout. Each plan in Russia comes with the following.
