Upload your website to the public_html folder. Everything in it is visible at your main domain, for example public_html/about.html becomes https://yourdomain.com/about.html.

Key points

  • The home page must be named index.html or index.php and be directly in public_html, not in a subfolder.
  • Do not upload into public_ftp or your home folder (/home/username); those are not shown on the web.
  • Addon domains and subdomains use their own folders. Check each one's Document Root in Domains › Domains.
  • Remove the default placeholder page (for example index.html from the hosting setup) if it would hide your own home page.

You can upload with an FTP program or with Files › File Manager in cPanel.
