cPanel shows the exact settings to use in your FTP program for each FTP account.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Files › FTP Accounts.
  3. Find the account in FTP Accounts (your main cPanel account is under Special FTP Accounts).
  4. Click Configure FTP Client.

You see the FTP Username, FTP server and FTP & explicit FTPS port (21), plus download links for configuration files for FileZilla, Cyberduck and CoreFTP. The password is not shown; it is the one you set for the account.
