Ucartz VPS use Virtualizor. If your VPS is with Ucartz, manage it from the Ucartz client area (Services › My Services › your VPS). The steps below are for VPS managed with SolusVM.

The virtual network card model affects speed and compatibility. Virtio is the fastest and is supported by all modern Linux systems. Intel PRO/1000 or Realtek are emulated cards for older systems or Windows without Virtio drivers.

Steps

  1. Log in to the SolusVM control panel (the address and login are in your VPS welcome email) and open your VPS.
  2. Open the VPS settings and find the network card option.
  3. Choose Virtio, Intel PRO/1000 or Realtek and save.
  4. Reboot the VPS.

Note: After a change the network interface name inside the VPS may change (for example from ens3 to another name). Keep the VNC console open in case you need to fix the network configuration. Windows needs the Virtio drivers installed before switching to Virtio.
