Ucartz VPS use Virtualizor. If your VPS is with Ucartz, manage it from the Ucartz client area and follow our guide to reinstalling the OS in Virtualizor. The steps below are for VPS managed with SolusVM.

Reinstalling gives you a fresh operating system. All data on the VPS is erased; the IP addresses stay the same.

Steps

  1. Back up any files and databases you need.
  2. Log in to the SolusVM control panel (the address and login are in your VPS welcome email) and open your VPS.
  3. Click Reinstall.
  4. Choose the operating system template and confirm.

After a few minutes, log in with the new root password shown by the panel or sent by email.
