How to Redirect a Website to Any Page or External Domain in cPanel

A redirect sends visitors from one address to another: a page to a page, or your whole domain to another domain.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Domains › Redirects.
  3. Choose Permanent (301) (best for search engines when a move is final) or Temporary (302).
  4. Select the domain. To redirect a single page, type its path after the slash, for example old-page.html.
  5. Enter the full destination address in Redirects to.
  6. Choose the www option and tick Wild Card Redirect if every page should go to the same path on the new domain. Click Add.

Note: Redirects are written to the .htaccess file of the domain's folder. Edit that file only if you are comfortable with its syntax.
