How to Park a Domain in cPanel

Updated 1 min read

Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: cPanel & WHM 138 (Jupiter theme)

A parked domain (called an alias in current cPanel) shows the same website as your main domain, for example example.net showing example.com.

Steps

  1. Point the domain to your hosting first: set its nameservers at the registrar to the ones in your Ucartz welcome email.
  2. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  3. Open Domains › Domains and click Create A New Domain.
  4. Enter the domain name.
  5. Leave Share document root ticked, so it uses your main site's folder.
  6. Click Submit.

In current cPanel versions, addon domains, subdomains and aliases (parked domains) are all managed in Domains › Domains.
