How to Forward Emails to Gmail, Yahoo, or Other Providers Using cPanel

Updated 1 min read

A forwarder sends a copy of every message for one address to another mailbox, such as Gmail or Yahoo.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Email › Forwarders and click Add Forwarder.
  3. Enter the Address to Forward and choose the domain.
  4. Choose Forward to Email Address and enter the destination, for example you@gmail.com.
  5. Click Add Forwarder.

Note: Large providers sometimes reject or mark forwarded spam, which can hurt your server's reputation. For a personal copy in Gmail, it is often better to let Gmail fetch the mail from your mailbox (Gmail settings › Accounts › Check mail from other accounts).
