How to Create an Additional Web Disk Account in cPanel

Web Disk lets you open your hosting files as a network drive on Windows, macOS or Linux, and work with them like local files. You can create extra Web Disk accounts limited to one folder.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
2. Open Files › Web Disk.
3. Under Create an Additional Web Disk Account, enter a Username and choose the Domain.
4. Enter a strong password twice.
5. Set the Directory the account may access, and choose Read-Write or Read-Only.
6. Tick Enable Digest Authentication only if you will connect from Windows without SSL. Click Create.

The account appears under Manage Additional Web Disk Accounts, where you can change its password or directory, or delete it.
