Change your cPanel password regularly, and straight away if you think someone else knows it.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Preferences › Password & Security.
  3. Enter your current password in Old Password.
  4. Enter the new password twice, or click Password Generator to create a strong one. The strength meter must reach the level the server requires.
  5. Click Change your password now!.

You are logged out and can log in again with the new password. If your hosting is with Ucartz, you can also reset the password from the client area: open the service and use the password change option.
