  2. Open Files › File Manager and go to the file.
  3. Right-click the file and choose Edit (or select it and click Edit in the toolbar).
  4. If a character encoding dialog appears, keep utf-8 and click Edit.
  5. Make your changes in the editor and click Save Changes.

Tip: Before editing an important file, right-click it and choose Copy to keep a backup copy, for example index.php.bak.
