How to Edit or Delete an MX Record in cPanel

Edit an MX record when you move email to another provider, or delete records that point to a service you no longer use.

Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
Open Domains › Zone Editor and click Manage next to the domain.
Use the MX filter to show only MX records.
To change one, click Edit, update the priority or destination and click Save Record.
To remove one, click Delete and confirm.

Note: Keep at least one valid MX record, or email to your domain will bounce. Check Email › Email Routing matches where your mail is hosted.
