Parking a domain (called an alias in current cPanel) makes a second domain show the same website as your main domain. It is useful for spelling variants and other extensions, such as example.net and example.co.in next to example.com.
Steps
- Set the domain's nameservers at its registrar to the ones in your Ucartz welcome email.
- Log in to cPanel (for example at
https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area). - Open Domains › Domains and click Create A New Domain.
- Enter the domain name.
- Keep Share document root ticked, so the domain uses your main website's folder.
- Click Submit.
Visitors to the alias see your main website, and you can create email addresses on the alias domain.
Tip: For search engines it is better if the alias redirects to your main domain than shows a copy of it. After adding it, create a permanent (301) redirect in Domains › Redirects.
