Ucartz Client Area Payment Methods

2 min read

Applies to: Payment methods shown on invoices and Add Funds in the Ucartz client area

The Ucartz client area offers more than one way to pay, so you can pick whichever works with your card or account. This guide explains what each option does.

PayPal Payments (Recommended)

This logs you into an actual PayPal account (or lets you create one) to complete the payment. PayPal handles any currency conversion itself, so this option works well if your card or PayPal balance is in a different currency to the invoice. This is the option we recommend by default.

PayPal Card Payments

This lets you enter card details directly through PayPal without logging into a PayPal account. It charges the card directly in the invoice's currency, without converting it. If your card was issued in a different currency to the invoice, for example a Eurozone card against a USD invoice, this option can fail with a currency error even though PayPal Payments (Recommended) would work fine for the same card. See PayPal Card Payment Error: Currency Not Supported if you see this.

Credit/Debit Cards / Wallet / UPI

This is our Razorpay gateway. It accepts international cards directly, along with UPI and wallet payments where available, and does not have the currency restriction that can affect PayPal Card Payments. If this option does not load or the Pay button does nothing, it is usually caused by an ad blocker or DNS filter blocking Razorpay's own domains rather than anything wrong with your payment. See Razorpay Payment Error: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED Fix if that happens.

Which one should I use?

PayPal Payments (Recommended) is the safest default, since it handles currency conversion automatically. If you would rather enter card details directly, or do not use PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards / Wallet / UPI accepts international cards without the currency restriction that PayPal Card Payments has. If one option fails or does not load, trying a different one from the dropdown is usually the fastest fix.
