To install an operating system that is not in the template list, boot the VPS from an ISO image and install it through the console. This option is available when the administrator has enabled ISO support.

Steps

  1. Log in to the Ucartz client area, open Services › My Services and click your VPS. The Virtualizor VPS dashboard is on the service page. (You can also log in to the Virtualizor panel directly with the address in your VPS welcome email and open the VPS from List VPS.)
  2. Add the ISO in the ISO section of the panel by giving a valid download URL and a name.
  3. On the management page, open VPS Configuration.
  4. Select the ISO as the primary ISO, and set the boot order to boot from CD Drive first.
  5. Stop and then Start the VPS.
  6. Open VNC and complete the operating system's installer.
  7. When installation is finished, set the boot order back to Hard Disk, remove the ISO, and Stop and Start the VPS again.

Note: Manual installations do not get the panel's automatic network setup: configure the IP address, gateway and DNS from your welcome email during installation. Ask support if you need the network details.
