Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: cPanel & WHM 138 (Jupiter theme)

cPanel sends warnings, for example when your account is close to its disk quota or a password was changed, to the contact email address. Keep it current, and use an address that is not hosted in the same account, so you still get warnings if the account has problems.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Preferences › Contact Information.
  3. Enter your main address in Contact Email Address and, optionally, a second one.
  4. Under Contact Preferences, choose which notices you want, such as disk quota, bandwidth and email quota warnings, and alerts about password or email changes.
  5. Click Save.

Note: The email address for invoices and service notices from Ucartz is set separately, in the client area under your account details.
