Show Hidden dotfiles and folders in cPanel Filemanager

Files whose names start with a dot, such as .htaccess, .user.ini and the .well-known folder, are hidden in File Manager by default.

Show hidden files

1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
2. Open Files › File Manager.
3. Click Settings at the top right.
4. Tick Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) and click Save.

The setting is remembered for your login. Untick it the same way to hide them again.

Note: Dotfiles often control how your site works. Copy one before you edit it, so you can put it back if something breaks.
