SOAP error in loading WSDL on Installing Magento

"SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL" when using Magento's SOAP API (or its installer) usually means PHP's SOAP extension is missing, or the server cannot fetch the WSDL from its own URL.

Fix

1. Enable the PHP soap extension: on cPanel servers dnf install ea-php83-php-soap (or in EasyApache 4), on CloudLinux Select PHP Version › soap.
2. Check that the server can open its own site: curl -I https://yourdomain.com/ from the server should work (no firewall or DNS problem).
3. If the site uses HTTPS, make sure the certificate is valid.

Magento 2 mostly uses its REST API; prefer it for new integrations.
