How to change CloudLinux LVE limits?

Updated 1 min read

Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: Plesk Obsidian 18.0

On a Plesk server with CloudLinux, set LVE limits (CPU, memory, processes, I/O) for each customer with the CloudLinux Manager extension.

Steps (root)

  1. Install it if needed: dnf install lvemanager.
  2. In Plesk, open CloudLinux Manager (under Extensions or the left menu).
  3. Set the default limits or limits per user/package, and save.

From the command line: lvectl set-user USERNAME --speed=100% --pmem=1024M --maxEntryProcs=20.
