Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: phpMyAdmin 5.2 in cPanel & WHM 138

Deleting (dropping) a table removes it and all its data from the database. It cannot be undone.

Steps

  1. Export the table first (see "How to export database table via phpMyAdmin in cPanel").
  2. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  3. Open Databases › phpMyAdmin and click the database in the left panel.
  4. Tick the table in the list.
  5. Under With selected, choose Drop.
  6. Check the query shown (DROP TABLE ...) and click Yes.

Note: Only delete tables you are sure the application no longer uses; many plugins create their own tables. To remove only the data, choose Empty instead of Drop.
