Repair a table when your site shows errors such as "Table '...' is marked as crashed and should be repaired" or "Incorrect key file for table".
Steps
- Log in to cPanel (for example at
https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area). - Open Databases › phpMyAdmin and click the database in the left panel.
- Tick the table named in the error, or click Check all.
- In the With selected menu, choose Check table to see which tables have problems.
- Select those tables again and choose Repair table.
You can also repair a whole database from Databases › Manage My Databases › Modify Databases › Repair Database.
Note: Repair works for MyISAM and Aria tables. InnoDB tables, the default for modern applications, recover on their own and return "The storage engine for the table doesn't support repair". If an InnoDB table still shows errors, open a support ticket.
