Import an SQL file to restore a backup or load a database from another server.

Steps

  1. Open phpMyAdmin (in cPanel: Databases › phpMyAdmin) and click the database in the left panel. (Create an empty database first if needed.)
  2. Open the Import tab and click Choose File (.sql, .sql.gz or .zip).
  3. Keep the format as SQL and click Import (Go).

Replacing a damaged table

Drop the damaged table first (tick it, then With selected › Drop), then import a backup that contains only that table.

Note: The Import tab shows the maximum upload size. For larger files, use cPanel's Files › Backup › Restore a MySQL Database backup or ask support.
