how to get my Solusvm node ID Key and Password

When you add a slave node to SolusVM, the master asks for the node's ID key and ID password. The installer shows them at the end; if you missed them, you can read them on the node.

Steps

1. Log in to the slave node as root over SSH.
2. Show the stored values:

   cat /usr/local/solusvm/data/solusvm.conf

3. Copy the key and password into the master's Add Node form.

Note: Treat these values like passwords: anyone who has them can connect a master to the node. Do not paste them into tickets or chats that others can read.

Note: This guide is for administrators of a SolusVM installation. Ucartz VPS customers manage their VPS in the Ucartz client area (Virtualizor), and can ask our support team to set reverse DNS or restart a VPS.
