Updated: 9 October 2026 · Applies to: Ucartz client area (WHMCS 9), cPanel hosting and reseller accounts, Roundcube webmail
To open Webmail from the Ucartz client area, go to Services › My Services, click your cPanel hosting service and click Log in to Webmail. The webmail login page opens in a new tab on your server's secure webmail port (2096). Sign in there with the full email address and that mailbox's password.
Open Webmail from the client area
- Log in to the Ucartz client area at https://www.ucartz.com/clients/.
- Open Services › My Services and click the hosting service that holds your domain's email.
- Click Log in to Webmail. A new browser tab opens with the webmail login page. If nothing happens, allow pop-ups for ucartz.com in your browser and click again.
- Enter the full email address (for example
info@yourdomain.com) and its password, then sign in. cPanel's webmail application is Roundcube.
The button takes you to the login page of the server your account is on; it does not sign you in to a mailbox by itself, because each mailbox has its own password.
Other ways to reach Webmail
- Your own domain: type
https://yourdomain.com/webmailin the browser. cPanel sends you to the same webmail login page. - Webmail subdomain:
https://webmail.yourdomain.comopens webmail on the normal HTTPS port when cPanel's service subdomains are enabled on the server. Use it when an office or hotel network blocks port 2096. - From inside cPanel: open Email Accounts and use Check Email next to the mailbox. See How to use webmail from within cPanel.
Which username and password to use
- A normal mailbox (such as sales@ or info@): the full email address and the password set for that mailbox in cPanel.
- The account's default address: the cPanel username and the cPanel password.
- Not your Ucartz client area email and password. The client area login only opens the client area.
Forgot the mailbox password?
You can set a new one without knowing the old one:
- In the client area, open the hosting service and, under Quick Shortcuts, click Email Accounts. cPanel opens already logged in, so you do not need the cPanel password.
- Find the mailbox and click Manage, then set a new password and save.
Full steps are in How to change the password for an email account in cPanel. Changing a mailbox password does not change your cPanel password, and the reverse is also true.
If Webmail does not open or the login fails
- Login refused: check that you typed the whole address including the domain, and that Caps Lock is off. If it still fails, reset the mailbox password as above.
- Page does not load on port 2096: some networks block it. Try
https://webmail.yourdomain.comor another network (mobile data is a quick test). - Certificate warning: open webmail through your own domain or the server hostname from the client area button, not through the server's IP address.
- Button missing: the Webmail button appears on active cPanel hosting and reseller services. Other plan types use a different panel; open a ticket from Support › Open Ticket and we will send you the right webmail address.
Use a mail app instead of Webmail
Webmail is handy on any computer, but a mail app on your phone or PC keeps mail in sync all the time over IMAP. See configure a cPanel email account in Outlook via IMAP and Does cPanel support IMAP?
