How to setup rDNS using Ucartz client area?

Reverse DNS (rDNS, or a PTR record) maps an IP address back to a host name. Mail servers check it, so set it for any server that sends email.

Steps

1. Log in to the Ucartz client area (https://www.ucartz.com/clients/).
2. Open Services › My Services and click the service.
3. Open the reverse DNS option for the service (shown as Configure Reverse DNS where available).
4. Click Edit next to the IP address and enter the host name, for example mail.example.com.
5. Save.

Note: The host name must resolve back to the same IP address (an A record), or many mail servers will ignore the rDNS. Changes can take a few hours to be visible. If the option is not shown for your service, open a support ticket with the IP address and host name.
