A PHP info page shows your PHP version, loaded extensions and settings, which helps when installing software or troubleshooting.

Create it

  1. In cPanel's Files › File Manager, open public_html (or the domain's folder) and click + File.
  2. Name it something hard to guess, for example info-7f3a.php, and click Create New File.
  3. Edit it and add just this line:
    <?php phpinfo();
  4. Save and open https://yourdomain.com/info-7f3a.php.

Note: The page reveals details that help attackers. Delete the file as soon as you have finished.
