IP Blocker stops specific IP addresses or ranges from opening your website, for example an abusive bot or someone trying passwords.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Security › IP Blocker.
  3. In IP Address or Domain, enter one of: a single address (192.0.2.5), a range (192.0.2.5-192.0.2.20), a CIDR block (192.0.2.0/24) or a domain name.
  4. Click Add.

Blocked visitors get a "403 Forbidden" error. Remove a block under Currently-Blocked IP Addresses with Delete.

Note: IP Blocker only protects your website. It does not stop email or FTP connections. If your site is behind Cloudflare, block the address in Cloudflare instead, because the server only sees Cloudflare's addresses.
