As a reseller, you can open any of your customers' cPanel accounts from WHM without knowing their password.
Steps
- Log in to your reseller WHM (
https://your-server:2087). - Open Account Information › List Accounts.
- Click the cPanel logo next to the account. cPanel opens in a new tab, logged in as that customer.
You can then do everything the customer can, such as creating email accounts or fixing files. Any change you make affects their live website, so tell them first.
Tip: To change a customer's password, use Account Functions › Password Modification in WHM. Logging in through List Accounts does not change or reveal their password.
