Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: cPanel & WHM 138 (WHM, root access)

Website statistics such as AWStats, Webalizer and the bandwidth figures in cPanel are not live. The server processes the access logs about once a day, so today's visits usually appear the next day.

If statistics are more than a day old

  • Check that the tool is enabled for your domain in Metrics › Metrics Editor (if available on your server).
  • Very large log files can take longer to process on busy servers.
  • If they are more than 48 hours behind, open a support ticket. The server administrator can process your logs straight away with /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/runweblogs USERNAME.

Tip: For real-time visitor figures, add an analytics tool to your site, for example Google Analytics or a self-hosted Matomo.
