My content is in the wrong folder, how do I move the files to the correct location?

Your main domain shows the files in the public_html folder. If you uploaded your website elsewhere, for example into /home/username or into a subfolder, move the files into public_html.

Move files with File Manager

1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
2. Open Files › File Manager and go to the folder where the files are.
3. Click Select All (or tick the files you need).
4. Click Move in the toolbar.
5. Enter the destination, for example /public_html, and click Move File(s).

Check

• The home page file (index.html or index.php) must be directly in public_html, not in a subfolder inside it.
• Addon domains and subdomains have their own folders; see the Document Root column in Domains › Domains.
• If you publish with an editor or FTP program, correct its remote folder setting, or the next upload goes to the wrong place again.
