How to Install a WordPress Plugin in Just a Few Clicks

Plugins add features to WordPress, such as contact forms, SEO tools or caching.

Steps

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard (https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
2. Open Plugins › Add Plugin.
3. Search for the plugin by name or feature.
4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Most plugins add their settings under Settings or as a new item in the left menu.

Tip: Check a plugin's rating, number of active installations and "Last updated" date before installing. Fewer, well-maintained plugins keep your site fast and secure.
