Sentora: Change max upload size on the server (Ubuntu)

Updated 1 min read

Updated: 11 October 2026 · Applies to: Sentora on Ubuntu

On a Sentora server running Ubuntu with Apache and mod_php, the upload limit is set in PHP's Apache configuration.

Steps (root)

  1. Edit /etc/php/8.x/apache2/php.ini (use your PHP version; php -v shows it).
  2. Set, for example:
    upload_max_filesize = 64M
    post_max_size = 70M
  3. Restart Apache: systemctl restart apache2.
