To ensure the safety and security of your broadcaster accounts, it is important to perform regular backups. With the Backup and Transfer feature, you can easily configure both local and remote backup options.

Follow these steps to perform the configurations:

Step 1:  Log in to your VDOpanel account and navigate to the left panel. Click on Backup and Transfer to expand the section. You will see several sub-sections.

Step 2: Configure Local Backup:

To configure local backup, click on Local Backup Config under the Backup Configuration section. Here, you will see the following parameters:

  • Enable/Disable: Enable this option to take local backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
  • Daily Backup: Enable this option to take daily backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
  • Weekly Backup: Enable this option to take weekly backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.

Note that when the daily or weekly backup is enabled, the backup will be taken at 2 AM every day or every Sunday, respectively.

Once you have specified the desired parameters, click on Update.

Step 3: Configure Remote Backup

To configure remote backup, click on Remote Backup Config under the Backup Configuration section. Here, you will see the following parameters:

  • Enable/Disable: Enable this option to take remote backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
  • Daily Backup: Enable this option to take daily backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
  • Weekly Backup: Enable this option to take weekly backups of broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
  • Remote Host: Specify the name/address of the remote server where the backup will be taken. The remote address should not include “http://”, “https://”, a trailing port, or path information.
  • Port: Specify the port number of the remote server.
  • Remote User: Specify the username used to log in to the specified remote server.
  • Remote Password: Specify the valid password for the above-specified remote username.
  • Remote Path: Specify the full destination path where the backup will be taken on the remote server (e.g., root/backup).

After specifying the desired parameters, click on Update.

If you want to test the connection with the specified remote server, click on Test Remote Server Connection before Update.

Performing regular backups is essential to ensure that your broadcaster accounts are secure and protected. By following these steps, you can easily configure both local and remote backup options for your accounts.
