Updated: 11 October 2026 · Applies to: cPanel & WHM 138 (Jupiter theme)

Each email account in cPanel has a Manage page where you can change its password and storage, block it temporarily, or delete it.

Open the account

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Email › Email Accounts.
  3. Click Manage next to the address.

What you can change

  • Security: set a new password.
  • Storage: change the mailbox size limit or make it unlimited.
  • Restrictions: suspend receiving incoming mail, sending outgoing mail (or hold it in the queue), or logging in, without deleting anything. This is useful if the account is sending spam or a staff member has left.
  • Delete Email Account: removes the mailbox and all its messages permanently.

Click Update Email Settings to save changes (deleting has its own confirmation).

Tip: If you are unsure, suspend the account's login first. You can delete it later once you have exported the mail you need.
