If a new SHOUTcast DNAS version causes problems, you can go back to the older version that Centova Cast uses for SHOUTcast 2 streams.
Steps (root)
- Download the older SHOUTcast DNAS 2 build for Linux from SHOUTcast's legacy downloads and unpack it, for example in
/tmp. - Keep the current binary:
mv /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2/sc_serv /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2/sc_serv_new
- Put the older
sc_servin its place and fix permissions:mv /tmp/sc_serv /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2/ /usr/local/centovacast/sbin/fixperms
- Restart the SHOUTcast-based streams.
Note: Older DNAS versions miss security fixes. Roll back only as a temporary measure. Ucartz customers can ask support to do this for their server.
