"Authentication failed" when connecting by FTP to upload music usually has one of these causes:
- Wrong login: use your Centova Cast stream account's username and password, not the
adminaccount and not your source (DJ/encoder) password. - Another FTP server is answering: if a web hosting control panel runs on the same server, its FTP server may be running instead of Centova Cast's. The server administrator must run Centova Cast's FTP server on another IP address or port.
Tip: You can also upload music with the web uploader in Centova Cast's file manager.
