Important Removals and Requirements

PHP Version Requirement: WHMCS 9.0 requires PHP 8.2 or higher (PHP 8.3 recommended). Support for PHP 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, and 8.1 has been removed.
ionCube Loader Requirement: A minimum of ionCube Loader 13.0.2 is required (14.4.0 recommended).
MySQL Requirement: A minimum of MySQL 5.2 is required (MySQL 8.0 recommended).
Removed Features: Support for legacy Smarty PHP tags, Google® as a mail provider, password authentication for Google email importing, and the TrustCommerce payment gateway have been removed.
Pre-Upgrade Actions: Before upgrading, remove any legacy Smarty PHP tags from customizations, configure an alternative mail provider if using Google, and transition to OAuth2 for Google email importing if applicable.
