Updated: 11 October 2026 · Applies to: Laminas (formerly Zend Framework)

Zend Framework is now called Laminas (the project moved to the Linux Foundation in 2020). The old Zend Framework 1 is no longer maintained.

Laminas components are PHP libraries that you install into your own project with Composer; nothing needs to be installed on the server. From Terminal in cPanel, for example:

cd ~/myproject
composer require laminas/laminas-mvc

Check the PHP version your Laminas release requires, and set it in Software › MultiPHP Manager.
