Installation of WordPress with Fantastico and Softaculous

Install WordPress in a few clicks with Softaculous in cPanel. (Fantastico, mentioned in older guides, has been discontinued.)

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel and open Softaculous Apps Installer (in the Software section).
2. Click WordPress and then Install.
3. Choose the protocol (https://), the domain and, if you want, a folder.
4. Enter the site name, and an admin username (not "admin"), a strong password and your email.
5. Click Install.

When it finishes, Softaculous shows your site and /wp-admin links.
