Updated 1 min read

Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: SolusVM 1 client area

Ucartz VPS use Virtualizor. If your VPS is with Ucartz, manage it from the Ucartz client area and follow our guide to reinstalling the OS in Virtualizor. The steps below are for VPS managed with SolusVM.

Reinstalling the operating system from SolusVM gives you a clean VPS. All data on the VPS is erased.

Steps

  1. Back up anything you need.
  2. Log in to the SolusVM control panel (the address and login are in your VPS welcome email) and open your VPS.
  3. Click Reinstall, choose the operating system template and confirm.

When it finishes, log in with the new root password. You can also reinstall from the Ucartz client area; see "How to Reload the VPS OS using Ucartz client area?".
