How it works
From order to a Linux server you control.
- 1
Choose a plan
Order the KVM VPS package that fits your project and pay at checkout.
- 2
Automatic deployment
Our control panel creates the VPS in about a minute once the order is approved. Your login details arrive by email.
- 3
Pick your distribution
Keep the installed system or reinstall with another distribution from the Virtualizor panel in your client area.
- 4
Build, or ask us
Work as root over SSH, or open a Technical Support ticket and our engineers set up a LAMP or LEMP stack for you, free.
What the free LAMP or LEMP setup covers
A standard web stack on the distribution you choose. Anything beyond it is optional and billed only for the time used.
Included free
- LAMP (Apache, MariaDB, PHP) or LEMP (Nginx, MariaDB, PHP)
- Your first site folder, with HTTPS on your domain
- Distribution updates applied before handover
- Advice on which of our Linux distributions suits your project
Custom work, billed by time
From $8 per 15 minutes or $28 per hour, only for the time used. No contract.
- Server hardening, firewalls and SSH key-only access
- Installing and configuring other software
- Moving from another server or hosting provider
- Monitoring, backups and ongoing Linux server management
Your Linux server, managed from the client area
Every plan is a KVM virtual machine with its own kernel, so you can run the software you need: web servers, databases, Docker, VPNs or your own services. You connect over SSH as root.
The Virtualizor panel in your client area looks after the machine itself: start, stop and reboot it, open the VNC console if SSH is unreachable, and reinstall the operating system in a few minutes.
Choose the distribution in the OS installer, for example Ubuntu, Debian or Rocky Linux, and change it later if a project needs something else. Reinstalling erases the disk, so back up first.
| Virtualisation | KVM, with its own kernel for each VPS |
|---|---|
| Access | Root over SSH, plus the VNC console in the Virtualizor panel |
| Operating systems | Linux distributions from the Virtualizor OS installer, for example Ubuntu, Debian and Rocky Linux |
| Storage | NVMe SSD, from 50 GB to 400 GB |
| Network | Unmetered bandwidth and one IPv4 address |
