How to manage web links in Joomla?

Web Links is Joomla's component for publishing a list of useful links. Since Joomla 4 it is a separate extension rather than part of the core.

Log in to the Joomla administrator (https://yourdomain.com/administrator).
If Components › Web Links is missing, install the official Web Links extension from the Joomla Extensions Directory (System › Install › Extensions).
Go to Components › Web Links › Categories and create a category.
Go to Web Links, click New, enter the title and URL, choose the category and click Save & Close.
Create a menu item of type Web Links (a category list) to show the links on your site.
