How to upgrade a script installed by Softaculous

Softaculous shows when a newer version of an installed application is available and can upgrade it for you.

Steps

1. Log in to cPanel and open Softaculous Apps Installer (in the Software section).
2. Open Installations. Installations with an update show an upgrade icon.
3. Click the upgrade icon, choose to create a backup first (recommended), and confirm.

Tip: Turn on automatic upgrades for each installation in its settings (Edit Details).
